ABOUT CINDY
White coat.JPG

Cindy (Xin Ran) Li is a medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has been drawing since a child.

She was a visual arts minor at Johns Hopkins and one of the few graduating seniors awarded with the Eugene Leake Award for outstanding achievement in art.

Although she works with different media, including watercolor, acrylic, sketching, life drawing, sculpturing, printmaking, photography, and digital art, she works mainly with oil paint.

Painting is not only a way for her to relax, but also to express herself. The oil painting “Take a Breath” explores mental and physical health. Her watercolor project includes a series of paintings that showcases her grandfather with symptoms of stroke.
